Sherman is owner and founder of Fit &Functional, Inc.which launched in the year 2000 and GroupFit Studio taking off in 2008. He holds a Degree in Physical Therapy along with being a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach, Certified Resist-A-Ball C.O.R.E Instructor, Certified Nutrition Specialist, 1st Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo and extensive continued learning courses and workshops related to health and fitness. Sherman?s goal and mission is to Educate, Motivate, and Guide individuals to a healthier lifestyle in which achieving their potential level of fitness. He wants his clients to understand that there are no short cuts and the 5 major keys to success are : (1)Willingness to Change (2)Understanding What You Need to Change in Your Life Style (3) Setting Action Goals (4)Taking Action (5)Being Consistent with Your Actions and (6) Being Patient with your results.
About six months ago a friend of mine told me about this fun class she took called Dance Trance. I asked her “what the heck is Dance Trance?” She said "it's really fun you should try it." So I did, and now I’m hooked! Great workout and lots of fun! The people are all so nice and the classes are great for my schedule. Sarasota Dance Trance Rocks my world!
