Carlos hits up Dance Trance Jax again for another awesome night of dance at Dance Trance Neptune Beach. His style is fun and easy, you will have a blast we promise!! He will be choreographing a routine specifically for the Dance Trance group that will be dance fitness.

This is your chance to diversify and learn something new. Carlos is a great inspiration to the dance community and we can’t wait to dance with him at the beach.

Our regular DT classes are canceled at the beaches studio on July 23rd. This workshop class will be 1.5 hours. All levels are welcome. Ages 15 and up.

More on Carlos:
Carlos Garland was born on July 4, 1988 and was raised in Jacksonville Florida. He started dance at the age of 13 at Lavilla School of the Arts. Originally studying drama arts, he was brought into dance from a dare made by a friend in the 7th grade. He went on to graduate from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, studying dance all four years. In his senior year of highschool he received a Merit Award in the NFAA (National Foundation of Advancement of the Arts) in hip hop. Carlos has attended Jacksonville University, double majoring in dance and computer science. Also during this time he performed in the First Coast Nutcracker as lead the Russian Doll and has consistently over the years since then.

Carlos is trained in and versatile with ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, breaking, lyrical, contemporary, improvisation dance as well as acrobatics and martial arts. He has a previous background in Taekwondo of 7 years and reached a second degree black belt.

Carlos was a top 20 finalist on the Fox TV dance show So You Think You Can Dance, Season 10. He has danced with the cast of Spider-man Turn Off The Dark in their final Gypsy Of The Year performance. He is a member of iLuminate (as seen on America’s Got Talent) and has performed as the main character in their hit off-broadway show, iLuminate, Artists of Light. Carlos also enjoys teaching and choreographing dance and does so frequently nationwide for dance competitions, studios, schools and colleges nationwide.
