Class Descriptions

Dance Trance locations offer various class levels depending on availability. To get more information on the class you would like to attend, please call your local studio. Here is a general description of our classes that are offered:
PACE Beginners Program

PACE is an introductory program offered at some Dance Trance locations. It is great for studnets that are hesitant to walk into any of our classes. It is a slow paced starting program for all students wanting to ease into Dance Trance. This program starts off with basic dance instruction and then progresses into a full blown Dance Trance workout. Half of this class in instructional so that you get the personal attention you need in order to learn dance choreography. Includes instruction on basic dance movement, choreography, music, nutrition, flexibility and strength training. It’s a great way to start up a fitness program that will keep you looking forward to your workout for years to come.

This program is more like a college course for Dance Trance than a class that changes each week. It is progressive and usually runs for  several months. Check with your location to see if it is offered.

Beginner Class

This class is a slow paced introduction for all students wanting to ease into Dance Trance. Includes detailed instruction and break down of one or two routines each week. Have no fear of starting here, leave your worries at the door.  It’s a great way to start up a fitness program that will keep you looking forward to your workout for years to come!

Intermediate or Break Down Class

A Beginner – Intermediate level class where you get to learn routines but still get a workout. This class is much faster than our Beginner’s Class. Beginner’s are welcome and encouraged to try this class if they want to review routines at a faster pace. Class format is to go through a routine, break it down and then repeat. Review of 4-5 routines in the hour.  Same songs are reviewed all week so that you get to practice them more than once.

Advanced or Dance Trance Class

Dance Trance is a loud, high-energy dance experience that leaves you soaking wet! DT is a fast paced more technical dance workout without choreography instruction and/or break down. This is your  JAM class! All levels are welcome as long as you keep moving. This is a very fast paced high cardio class with no instruction.

Kids Classes

Kids classes are offered in many of the Dance Trance locations. Kids are the future so we try to spread our love of this program on for the next generation. Check with your closest location to see if a class is offered. Age limits may vary.
