This is the first England location for Dance Trance! We are very excited to offer these awesome dance fitness classes in this exceptional location. If you want to find out what all they hype is about, come try it out!!
Our timetable is primarily based around delivering professional coaching in three dance disciplines: Street, Modern Jazz/Pom Dance and Cheerleading. Most lessons are structured in two parts: a part of the lesson is spent teaching a simple exam routine, in which pupils can then use if they wish to be entered into a dance medal test. The rest of the lesson is then focused on learning to dance and perform as a team, where pupils are trained and taught a competition team routine by professional coaches.
Every pupil will have the opportunity to perform with their team at a national competition. Both exams and attending competitions is optional and parents will be fully informed of details in advance and of any extra costings of which such exams and competitions would incur. This is so parents can stay in control and make an informed decision as to whether they wish their child to take part in these opportunities. Pupils can still enjoy being part of the team and benefit from developing their skills, even if they do not wish to be entered into exams or wish to compete. Above all, we want Velocity Academy to be a place where pupils can build their confidence and enjoy learning to dance and cheer.
