Membership to Practical Fitness not required to participate in our classes, our classes are open to the public. Practice Fitness Members receive a discounted price. (Must be 14 or older w/parent or guardian to participate in our classes).
What do I wear?
Students wear dance pants, tees, and anything they feel comfortable dancing in. You can also find really cool dance wear in our Shop. Gym or aerobic shoes are required for Dance Trance and Boot Camp Classes. Jazz shoes do not have enough support. Smoother soles are better for turning. Running shoes are not recommended for this class due to the heavy side movement and turning. Ballet students may wear ballet slippers or go barefoot.
New to Dance Trance?
If you are a new student we suggest you try our Prep (Beg) or Break Down (Inter) program first. These classes cover the same routines we are doing in Dance Trance but give you some instruction on how to do them. If you have previous dance experience, try the break down class first. Break down covers 3 routines in one hour. Prep class covers 1 routine in one hour. Dance Trance classes do not have any instruction on how to do the routines. It is just a high cardio, “follow the instructor” experience.
