    Twice a year the Dance Trance Nation comes together. We dance, play and work to make our programs in every corner of the globe a huge success. We are so very lucky to be able to work with such great people and make such great friends. This past weekend was exceptional and enlightening.
    We want to thank the DT Jax instructors for helping us put together such an amazing experience. The choreography team also worked very hard on new routines for you to introduce throughout the summer. Our next instructor workshop is scheduled for September 27-29, 2013.     Instructor Workshop September 27-29, 2013

    All licensee members are invited to attend our workshop series. If you are not a license holder, but are interested in obtaining a DT license, please contact us for availability in this workshop. Persons interested in starting up their own Dance Trance program our encouraged to attend, please contact Beth Handline at Beth@dancetrancefitness.com for details.

    Workshop begins at 4:00 PM on Friday afternoon and runs through Sunday til 4 pM. To benefit from all choreography and class sessions, make sure you plan to stay for each day’s complete session.

    Only License members receive video copy of this event.

    Public classes open to the general public are offered on Saturday and Sunday only. Rate is $50 per class session. Class usually runs 1.5 – 2.0 hours and includes all new choreography in advanced format. Combinations are not broken down.  These are very popular classes and will sell out before the event. Only a few students spots may be open depending on registration. If you are from another location and bringing more than 10 students with you, please call us before registering. Any student registration may be canceled to make room for instructors. Space is very limited, so register early. May sell out. Note: workshop attendees do not need to pay additional for these classes.

    Instructor/Director Registration:
    Rate for the workshop  is $500 per person. Click Button below to purchase and make your reservation. Persons interested in opening a Dance Trance Program are welcome to attend. Only License holders receive DVD copy of this event. All accommodation,  food and travel expenses are not covered.

    Our entire 3 Day Workshop is for Dance Trance license holders and instructors. If you are interested in starting up your own program please E-Mail Beth@dancetrancefitness.com and we can try to make room for you at this event. Registration is $500.

     

    Hotel Listing:
    Our studios are in two different locations. San Marco is close to downtown Jacksonville & our Beach studio is about 20 mins away on the beach (Neptune Beach) which is about 5 miles from Jacksonville Beach. We suggest staying close to either or in-between on State Rd 202 (JTB Hwy) which runs between the two locations (this is probably the cheapest option).

    For discount reservations and info about hotels in the area, please contact our travel agent. We do have group rates for this workshop that may be cheaper than the rates you can get online.

    Groove Tour 2013 New Orleans

    Join the Dance Trance Crew for a Weekend of Fun and Entertainment!

    We try to hold a “Groove Tour” every year for all our students, fans and friends. This is a one time chance to get together with all Dance Trance studios and enjoy a weekend in a fabulous location that includes a Dance Trance class! This year our destination spot is the French Quarter in New Orleans. We have lots of fun activities planned for this event. You will be able to meet up with the group or you can go out and do your own thing. It’s all about a good time and you know we got cha covered on that ;)

    Bring a friend, two or three. We just hope to see you there. We are now booking for group rates at hotels in the Square.

    SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:  The W Hotel option is Now SOLD OUT.  We have Hotels available on the same block however, and group rates that will give you a discount. All hotels are with walking distance or street car distance of the places we have listed on our agenda. The best way to book is through our travel agent Valerie Gossett at valerie@journeywithus.info in order to make sure you are near the group.

    You may also book on your own. Just let please register with us above to let us know  you are coming and make sure to reserve space in the Dance Trance class on Saturday (see below). You can book the DT class online by clicking here. 

    Book now to make sure rooms do not sell out. Its better to book and ask about cancellation dates than not to be able to get a room. If you are staying in the French Quarter within walking distance to everything, rooms book up for the summer very quickly.

    Flight reservations can be made individually from your destination or via our travel agent. Events will start on Thursday night through Saturday. We will be returning home on Sunday July 21st, but you are welcome to travel on different dates.

    It is not necessary to rent a car if you are staying in the french quarter. Street car service is available to the dance studio and nearby locations.

     

    REGISTRATION FOR DANCE TRANCE CLASS:

    To reserve space in the Dance Trance Class at Dance Quarter (Home of Dance Trance New Orleans) on Saturday July 20th 11 AM – 12:30 PM. Click Here. Rate = $20/pp.  Please sign in separately and pay for each person individually. (Select “in store pick-up” mail option to avoid paying mail rates. We do not mail tickets.) It is not necessary to register in advance for this class,  you may pay at the door. Cash only.

If you want to stay with us, please reserve a room today.     New PACE Beginner’s Program Starts Up March 3rd

    Dance Trance Jacksonville

    P.A.C.E. Beginner’s 3 month program starts Sunday March 3rd 2013 in San Marco. Meets Mon & Wed 7-8 PM and also on Sundays 6 PM.

    This program is a little different than our PREP class that runs on a regular basis throughout the year. PACE is a course that is progressive and includes more information on choreography, dance technique, musicology, nutrition, strength training and flexibility. This course starts out at a very slow comfortable pace and then progresses to a faster pace during the quarter. Our next quarter’s program will start up March 3rd at our San Marco location and will run at on Mon and Wed 7-8 PM and Sundays at 6 PM.

    This is a great way to get moving for the new year!!

    *Persons with an All Access Pass or 10 Class Card may attend this class, so just drop in and learn some new moves!

    Dance Trance Hits Club La Maison in Philadelphia

    We visited Club La Maison this week and showed them how we do it in Dance Trance! The class sold out the first week, so we actually had to add more sessions in order to get everybody in! Instructors and Directors from other facilities in Pennsylvania were present and will hopefully soon be starting up their own programs. If you are located in this area, you should have a Dance Trance near you soon! Dance Trance Richmond and Dance Trance DC were also in attendance (thanks for the support!).
